The conclusion was
that the market would benefit from a stretch polyester fabric. There
are some excellent polyester yarn producers in Canada servicing the
hockey shirt market. By working closely with one such company and experimenting
with various qualities of polyester and combinations of spandex we were
able to develop a unique fabric.
Beginning with the polyester/spandex we then developed patterns that
give the shirt shape through the body, narrow short sleeves and a contemporary
collar made of the same fabric.
